I love analyzing problems and developing learning solutions!
I began my career as a science educator. During this time, I transformed several curricula into engaging eLearning and I trained other educators on various learning technology tools.
I quickly realized that I love analyzing learner needs and designing learning solutions. I enrolled in IDOL, which is an Academy focused on Instructional Design and Online Learning.
I also began freelancing as an Instructional Designer for a local organization. After conducting a very thorough needs analysis with their team, I designed and developed trainings to meet their needs. During development I utilized tools such as Camtasia and Articulate Storyline 360. My work with this organization has decreased skill gaps, increased sales, and improved their onboarding process.
My goal is to use my Instructional Design skills and experiences to meet the needs of others.
More About Me...
I enjoy learning, especially about nature!
Whether it's reading about the organisms in our environment, taking a hike, or enjoying a book in the great outdoors, I'm in!
As a lifelong learner, I am passionate about learning. And nature holds so much to be learned! Every walk through a forest teaches me something new about the world that surrounds me. Each book I read fills me with information about the life on Earth. This knowledge cultivates my appreciation for nature and feeds my desire to learn.
I am attentive to detail, in all aspects of life!
I am a detail-oriented person. Not only is this apparent in my work, but it's also evident in how I spend my free time.
I can often be found enjoying a slow walk through the woods. I love observing details in nature and our forests are full of them! Most of these features are incredibly small, so they are easily overlooked. But they are so significant in the life of the forest. I enjoy slowing down so I can appreciate these details.
